Most states require certification for employment. Currently California (which CSS currently operates) is not a state that requires state certification. Is this stable job market?

Yes, the Sterile Processing department is a growing field. Positions for certified technicians are currently in demand because of state requirements. The requirement for sterile processing technicians is projected to grow 10% to 14% between 2016 and 2026. Much of this comes down to a rapidly aging Baby Boomer generation.
