CSS Education

The Central Sterilization Solutions (CSS) Sterile Processing Courses/Classes are designed to prepare our students for the National Sterile Processing Certification Exam through HSPA. Completing the CSS Sterile Processing Certification Course/Class will result in students becoming prepared for the HSPA Sterile Processing Exam, strengthening career-finding tools, and assisting with completing 400 hours of hands-on training. For someone aspiring for a career in the medical field or someone currently working as a technician, getting your HSPA CRCST Certificate will make you stand out in your profession.

Students choose how they want to attend class. With In-Person, Live Stream Virtual Classes, or an Online Course available, we have a class to meet your schedule.

 

The CSS Sterile Processing Course (CRCST) is designed to prepare our students for the National Sterile Processing Certification Exam. Completing the CSS CRCST certification course will result in students becoming Certified Registered Central Service Technicians. For someone aspiring for a career in the medical field or someone currently working as a technician, getting your CRCST certificate will make you stand out in your profession.

Students choose how they want to attend class. With In-Person, Live Stream Virtual Classes, or an Online Course available, we have a class to meet your schedule.

 

In-Person Learning:

The Central Sterilization Solutions In-Person Course will provide students with an instructor lead course in one of our classroom locations. The classroom is held for 2 hours each week, for 14 sessions. We recommend that students take their time with the online videos, textbook, and workbook after the class sessions. Learn as a group at one of our learning locations.

Students will attend class with an instructor weekly. Hands-on training is done in a hospital, not in class. CSS offers class locations at Orange Terrace Community Center 20010 Orange Terrace PKWY, Riverside, CA 92508 0r Whittier Community Center 7630 Washington Ave Whittier, CA 90602.

Live Stream Leanring:

The Live Stream Class is attended by students with an instructor via Zoom. The class will stream for 2 hours each week for 14 sessions. We recommend students take their time with the online videos, textbook, and workbook after the virtual classroom sessions. Students will have the ability to ask questions and engage with other students virtually.

Our accelerated Live Stream (Zoom) Sterile Processing Technician Course will prepare students to become vital members of any hospital central services team. Medical facilities of all shapes and sizes seek sterile processing technicians with skill sets that include: approved practices for decontamination and sterilization of medical supplies and equipment, the proper ways to transport equipment, identifying common pathogens found in the medical setting, and more. Sterile processing job skills are essential to the sterilization, maintenance, storage, and distribution of medical instruments. Gaining skill sets can enable a sterile processing technician to achieve higher wages.

Online Courses:

The online (self-paced) program prepares aspiring technicians for certification with industry-leading insight that covers subjects like medical terminology, aseptic technique, blood-borne pathogens, patient privacy, quality assurance, professional development, and more. The Online Sterile Processing Courses have the flexibility to be completed at the student’s desired schedule, and upon graduation, students will be ready for the national exam.

Our accelerated Online Sterile Processing Technician Courses will prepare students to become vital members of any healthcare central service team. Medical facilities of all shapes and sizes seek sterile processing technicians with skill sets that include: approved practices for decontamination and sterilization of medical supplies and equipment, the proper ways to transport equipment, identifying common pathogens found in the medical setting, and more. Sterile processing employment skills taught in this program are essential to sterilization techniques, maintenance routines, storage, and distribution of medical instruments. This online course is to be advanced and completed at your own time and convenience. There are no deadlines or a minimum timeframe. We have built our courses to provide all of our students with a fast and comprehensive experience.
