The CSS Sterile Processing Course is designed to prepare our students for the National Sterile Processing Certification Exam. Completing the CSS course will help prepare students to become Certified Registered Central Service Technicians through HSPA. Our classes/courses are designed to help you pass the HSPA CRCST National Exam. Career Support helps students find employment, and Internship Assistance assists students in finding locations for hands-on hours. Either for someone aspiring for a career in the medical field or someone who is currently working as a technician, getting your CRCST certification will make you stand out in your profession.
Students choose how they want to attend class. With In-Person, Live Stream Virtual Classes, or an Online Course available, we have a class to meet your schedule.
Central Sterilization Solutions has multiple partnering healthcare locations throughout California. Students will receive assistance to complete the HSPA-required 400 hours of hands-on training.

A Course Designed With You In Mind
The CSS Â SterileProcessing Courses/Classes will provide quality education by SP specialists for professionals seeking certification. With our experience as technicians, leads, managers, and educators, CSS knows what the SP industry is looking for from technicians.
Since there is no hands-on training in class, students choose which learning experience works best for them. With either Online Courses or Live Stream, In-Person Classes, students will learn a combination of health science and healthcare professionalism skills to prepare them for a crucial role in the heart of the hospital (SPD).
Included in the course: HSPA CRCST textbook, workbook, In-depth 24 chapter review, study material, resources, tuition options, quizzes, and an advanced 2-hour timed, 175-question Prep Exam.
Courses/Classes designed to prepare students for provisional examination, career preparation, and internship hours. The program currently features an average CSS Prep Exam passing score of 90-95%.

In-person learning is to be attended by students at a CSS classroom location. The class is taught by an instructor once a week. Each session is structured to go over two chapters of information. There are 24 chapters in total for the HSPA CRCST Textbook. Duration: 14 sessions

The Live Stream Classes are instructed via the Zoom Video Meetings app. The class is held by an instructor (STREAMING) once a week. Each session is structured to go over two chapters of information. There are 24 chapters in total for the HSPA CRCST Textbook. Duration: 14 sessions.
Online Self-Paced
Online courses are built to be self-paced. Follow along with the videos online. There are 24 units, covering the 24 HSPA CRCST chapters with homework, quizzes, and a Prep Exam. Duration: Average completion ~ 2-5 months.
